Create Hyphenate IDs and Bind to Your Existing Users

To integrate Hyphenate IM services with new or existing user data in your developer server, you'll need to create and bind the unique Hyphenate ID to your user data with the following steps.

Write a script to handle the binding process with the following steps for each user:

  1. Create an anonymous Hyphenate ID using the backend REST API Hyphenate ID Registration
  2. Save the Hyphenate ID and password to the existing user object in your database
